Hi all,

You guys don't seem to ahve any new campaigns starting up in the last 2 years on this bit (I know Bahamut has his gmae going) but you know I thought I'd like to get one going again. I am familiar with 3.5 and 4ed though i have no idea hwo 4th ed would work play by post? I'm thinking very badly. so this thread is for a general teaser to see if anyone wants to give it a go. if you haven't played 3.5 before then that's totally fine. i'll start from the beginning (1st level) so things won't be too difficult and i can gen characters for you. jsut give me an idea what you want to be. also no evil dudes please, i like my heroes to be heroes ^^

First of all i would like to thank you for providing this forum. All of my questions will be involving 2nd edition DnD.
1. At the moment i am a 6th lvl high elf mage, and my party and I are pushing our way thru a forest and decided to camp for the nite. When we where asked to set up our sleep arangements and to see who is on watch at what times, I said I didnt need sleep (elves do not need sleep, but can if they wish.) But in order for a mage to memorize spells he must have a full nites rest. I argued with the DM that i should be able to memorize my spells with maybe 4 hours of sleep since i am a elf. My DM is a great DM everyone loves him but he wants some evidence that i can memorize my spells with little to no sleep. Please help we all looked in every manual we could to find the correct rule, but we left it at a elven mage must sleep at least 8 hours before he can memorize his spells again.

This game entails the theft of a dragon's egg and the abduction of the egg barer, Adreal. It is up to her love (pc) an elven ranger to track her down and rescue her from whomever captured her and the egg. However he dose not know who has taken her or where she has been taken to. He searches the land for any sign of Adreal or the egg to no avail. At last he comes to a small village and checks into the Sleepy Willow Inn where he meets some very interesting people.
This game is set up for about four players and I need:
1 elven ranger
1 dwarven defender
1 cleric of St. Cuthbert
1 rouge
There are indepth backgrounds for each of these characters and each one has their own quests to attend to. By working together the party can complete these quests. This game can take pcs into epic levels and beyond. Anyone interested in joining this game respond to this thread and let me know which character you want to take.

Ezri Dax is the marker to let you know you're watching the last season. You know, it's amazing that someone would bail out right before the last season. "Hmmm, I think six seasons is enough for me," and you know that whoever plays Ezri REALLY lucked out. She got to be on a show that was already popular and guaranteed syndication. I dont' know if she'll get paid for it though.
By the way, I think that she's a bad actress. I also think whoever plays Bashir is a ham.
Worf is much better in DS9 than he was in TNG.

Whenever you participate in a game with asynchronous responses, it's important to have some general rules or guides to how often everyone should be required to respond before the game moves on. Otherwise, one person can easily hold up the entire game without even really meaning to.
How often do you think people should respond?
Comments welcome.

Anyone can browse the Play-by-Post Campaigns, but only members of that gaming group can post in the Campaign. Once you find a game you'd be interested in joining, contact the Dungeon Master by sending them a Private Message on the board.
Currently, by far the most active game is run by Bahumuth, you can contact him by clicking here.
Did you know that you can create multiple logins under the same email address? This was allowed in order to facilitate people who wanted multiple characters. Consult the DM if he/she requires this for their game.
In the future, it will be nice if we can allow multiple Characters per Player (login) through another means.

Hello, I know my username is cheesy, but I didnt feel like being creative at the time. Anyways, I am looking for an original dnd game to run a pc in. It appears there are a few groups running on the forums, but was wondering if anyone is running sessions on a real time rpg browser, such as Open RPG or the like?
