Do you all think this would be a good representation of the Realm of the Egg?

So I'm currently working on that lore video as you all know and I'm going to be drawing brand new art for each area in black and white for it.

I'm gonna be drawing a view from the peaks of Booh.

The blue dot being the view. However I'll probably draw two view points. One looking Northwest towards the egg of coot while the one to the North east towards Blackmoor. I'll also be drawing original art for The Temple of Id (although from looking at it. It looks like the Temple ins't in the mountains but along the river and after talking to Svenny he says he pictures it as Stone Hinge almost which with this placement makes more sense)

While playing Skyrim recently I saw this swampy flooded area that reminded me of what i had in mind for the realm of the egg

what do you all think?

I do recommend that you read the MMRPG Episode 35 (All the Egg's Men) where some description of approaching the Land of the Egg of Coot is provided. Not a lot of description, to be honest, but something is always better than nothing Smile

Cool idea!

I like it, but I would add more "Mordor" to the image.

Well, there is no right or wrong when it comes to art.

However, I feel like the Egg of Coot in many ways played the role of Sauron in the Blackmoor campaign. The ultimate villain in a near undefeatable realm.

The land of the Egg of Coot is a place of heavy fortifications manned by Orcs, constructs, undead and demonic forces. The lands are covered in a heavy, mind altering mist and magic-industrial fumes. But I would also make it dark and perhaps with volcanic flames or thunderous lightning seen in between the mists.

Noone goes to these lands and return unchanged. Most will never return.

In Episode 35 they go somewhat beyond that, adding strange shapes and formations confusing the senses and making it tough to focus in some cases. I suggest you read it through.
