Gertrude the Dragon

[aldarron]

Also the East Gate became known as Gerri's Gate (named after Gertrude the Dragon who was killed there by the Baddies).

Are there any anecdotes to elucidate this shadowy figure from Blackmoor's past?

And more intriguingly, was Gertrude the Dragon based upon Gertie the Dinosaur?

What?!?

If Gertie's been done in by somebody, I'm gonna have to do something about it. Seriously.

I'm thinking - like several other characters - Dave resurected her. I got the idea from this line in the FFC under "The Town of Blackmoor map"; "Also the East Gate became: known as Gerri's Gate (named after Gertrude the Dragon who was killed there by the Baddies)."
