I see a draconic looking silhouette in the illo on page 61 of the FFC. Is that Gertrude?
And again I see another dragon on page 63, but the caption says "Tomb of the Grey Dragon". More questions, more mysteries....
Who would venerate a dragon by building a tomb for it? Such a large edifice would have been the result of many man-hours of labour for its construction, implying an organised work-force over a presumably long period of time (unless there was some magical presto-change-o going on). What did it do to win such admiration? What kind of life did it lead and how did it interact with the player-characters (if at all)? Or, perhaps it was bad and was sealed up in the tomb to keep it from being a menace! hock: Do not disturb!
