When I was in high school a Norwegian exchange student had his folks send him a care-package with the filthy stuff, and in class, no less, he was wont to munch on a slab of it quite heartily. It fairly resembled a chunk of my grandfather's homemade soap, into which it was his custom to mix ashes.
