Indeed. IMO there has always been a Cthulhu-esque element lurking in the background of the Blackmoor campaign.

I am borrowing from several authors who used the Cthulhu Mythos: Lovecraft, Ashton Smith and REHowards.

In particular I emphasize on the REH spin of the whole thing though. Fundamentally Blackmoor is fantasy rather than horror.

But I like that you mention Ashton Smith as I am working on something big there as well...

That adventure with the silly MP3s, I actually bought it...
