I have to second Noir Faineant on this one. Its been a while since I watched it, but as I remember it was watchable, but didnt blow me away.
I think the fact that it was a kind of origins tale took away some of sense the mystery about the Kane character that I would have preferred. If they were going to reveal his origins, I would have preferred it if they did so as flashback scenes instead, gradually revealing why he became the badass puritan he is rather than have him start out as pretty much a regular guy at the beginning.
BTW, if you dont have it, the Savage World of Solomon Kane RPG is a pure piece of RPG art in itself.
