It just occurs to me that we are now seeing a series of new products appearing on the market which pay direct tribute to Blackmoor in one way or another.
The first one is Rob S Conley's Blackmarsh.
The second is Shaedraeth & the Lost Moorlands from Code Monkey
The third is the Destiny Setting from Jeff Quinn's Dolmen Creative.
Can we speak of Clones, or is that too strong (and perhaps loaded) a word for these settings? Granted the Black Marshes is the only one actually on the market yet, so with the others it is hard to say how major the Blackmoorian influence is.
In any case, it is pretty interesting to see that Blackmoor retains such a strong impact on the hobby that it manages to sneak its way into new games like this
Any thoughts?
