Indeed, it is interesting that these adventures are set five years before the d20 line. I wonder if this was done to deliberately create an alternate timeline where not only the MMRPG, but also other parts of the d20 line do not take place?

I'm impressed by the layout. Really nice. Even the cover page pops. What font is that for the Blackmoor letterhead?

I notice in the hand-out there are slots for reputation and honor. Is that a thing in 5e?

Not in the standard rules, but there are additional rules for this in the DMG. I am not sure if Philip is using the DMG version of whether he has created his own set of rules for this?

The D20 version of Blackmoor did have a nobility point system, so it might be useful to device something similar for 5E if you want to adapt some of the specific d20 Blackmoor material.
