While the topic of elven lifespan is something that has come up several times on this forum in the past, it has usually been in connection with the past history of Blackmoor. When discussing the nature of Sirinda's Balm I started thinking about the future timeline as well. Assuming the Great Rain of Fire happens around 1000 years after the Classic Blackmoor Era (1025-1030), the length of elven lifespan would mean that the elves who are alive when Blackmoor is destroyed could be the grandchildren of Menander Ithamis, or even the children of elves who are young during the Classic Age.
Anyone given this more thought? That has some interesting implications for campaigns such as RobJN's Throne of Stars game... 8)
