[WFI Repost] Blackmoor demihumans all that interesting?

Am I the only one who finds the demihumans of Blackmoor a little uninteresting? I find that Afridhi, Peshwa, Skandaharians, Froglin etc greatly overshadow my interest in elves, dwarves, halfings or even docrae. Not to mention Gnomes. As a result of this, I have really downplayed the role of these races in the setting. On the upside, this helps me create a Conan-esquen style that I was looking for in my current campaign. Am I missing something?
