Great information and your blog continues to be awesome.
It's interesting to consider essentially that from this one character, an entire class was born. Imagine how D&D might have been different if the entire "each player becomes a class" thing became the norm. Remember that there was at least one Balrog character in Dave's game. Also, Sir Fang might have spawned an entire Vampire character class.

That would have been very interesting indeed! I guess Dan explored this concept a bit in D@D, but I think it could be taken further.
