5 of 5 Smashed Afridhi Skulls.
But is this a BM adventure? Well, it written by the master himself, and published by the same company that later did the d20 revamp. I'd say, NO, but it would fit into the setting perfectly. As some of the lucky ones that actually own a print copy, I can say it's an absolute gem, and it's a shame this wasn't published on a larger scale. It's a short, gritty one-nighter, feeling a lot like the "new" Blackmoor later created by ZGG. The most underrated product of the entire GGG/ZGG collaboration.

I'd go as far as say that it is a Blackmoor product, even if they didnt put the Blackmoor logo on it. As you say, it was authored by Dave and the ZG staff and was a sort of preview teaser for the ZG Blackmoor line. I have a copy signed by Dave himself. 8)

Yeah; I personally think it's a far better intro to The Redwood Scar than"Ties That Bind", because of its relative shortness.
What I personally will do once I come to DM a longer campaign, is probably linking this adventure with Troll Lord Games' "A Lion in the Ropes".

I have never thought about combining the two. Any specific suggestions? 1. Not really. I might elaborate that in the future, though. For now, my priority for running a game is Richard Snider's "Tower of the Dead".
2. http://index.rpg.net/display-entry.phtml?mainid=6905 Basically a mini-setting, with a rather meta-plot independent story. I usually set it on the Crabb Coast, near Jackport. That's why I would always put the Lighthouse somewhere near.

The reason we actually produced this module was because the negotiations with WoTC delayed our publication of the D&D3.0 edition of Blackmoor. We had to go back and redo a massive amount of stat and game structure to fit with the changes that occurred in 3.5. There are alot of inside jokes in there as well that were placed to reflect upon the changes and how Dave and I saw them impacting the biz. Interesting, I will have to take another look at this module now. Quote:I agree. It was fast, fun to play and most importantly, rare! I am happy to have that signed copy in my collection. -Havard
