EPISODE 91: Rolling Thunder

Quote:The Regent of the Mines has been fighting a losing war against the Orcs of the
Dwoemer Realm. A recent foray into the depths has returned a fantastic engine
core to power the Dwarves most impressive war machine yet. This giant
tunneling vehicle, armed with the Wizards’ Cabal weaponry and hardened
plates of ferrous adamantine is destined to take the fight to the Orcs in the dark
recesses of the world where the green skins live and breed. This giant harbinger
of death can cause the very ground to shake and the rock to tremble. Gnome
engineers have named this invincible weapon Rolling Thunder. Unfortunately,
last night, someone stole it… A Dave Arneson’s Blackmoor one round
adventure for players levels 7-13. Part two of the series, “Blood from the Stone.”
WARNING: This adventure takes place in the Dwoemer Realm and is
recommended for well balanced parties and players who have previously
participated in Episode 84: From Below and Episode 85: What Lies Beneath.

Another mystery? Episode 85 in this website actually bears the title of World without Sunshine! Well... it may be just two title variants for the same adventure, or... :?:
Actually I suspect they are just variant titles for the same adventure, but.... you never know...

Actually, this is a pretty awesome adventure! We meet the Nyborgs, the Drakon'katha, the Garthropods, and a majestic underground war machine!
It explains a lot of the unexplained references in the last two adventures published before this!

Good catch.
What Lies Beneath is actually the title of Episode 53 by Scott Moore (Season 3). However, in this case I think the module is referring to Ep84 and Ep85 which both deal with the Dwoemer Realm.

Yes, it is a really cool and elaborate mythology that has been developed through these adventures.
I sometimes feel like I could need a dictionary though:
Nybork / Nyborg : Starfish-like race associated with the Drakon'katha
Drakon'katha: Four armed spellcasting lizardmen.
Garthopods: Insectoid hive mind race.
