From the DA1 map, without obvious references to Fritz Leiber, can anyone tell me what the Tower of Fritz is for?
I did not notice it reading the DA1 text and it is a lot of reading to find manually.
Online searches turn up only Leiber and Lankhmar references. What is left sends me back here and also to Leiber. And one German movie called the Strangler of Blackmoor Castle.

Hi there Tracy, good to see you posting in this part of the forum as well
Could you be thinking about the Abbey of Fitz (no R)?

The Abbey of Fitz is briefly mentioned on p 45 of DA1. However, very little detail is given except to note that the area between Fitz and Booh are considered unusually safe for Blackmoor. The Abbey is Church-land within the domain of Vestfold. There is some discussion of Fitz in the
Vestfold City Map thread as Fitz is depicted on that (unofficial) map.
