I just uploaded the stats for these creatures
in the docs thread. Is there a better description of them anywhere? What do they look like?

Well, I guess basically they are frost/Ice elementals.

Maybe something like this?
Then again, the association with Sachwynne makes me imagine something more feminine...

These are cool. I'm adding them to my BM creature list for OS conversion. I'll treat them simply as creatures rather than "elementals" per se, so they can be used in OD&D without being subject to the rules for elementals if the DM wishes.

Given the nature of Sachwynne, I have begun to visualize these Shards as swashbuckler-like maidens made out of ice.

This idea of Sachwynne as a kind of benevolent Ice Godess is pretty interesting. I wonder if I could tie her to the Great Glacier or the Land of Black Ice.
She doesn't seem to be connected to the Skandaharians at all.
I also like the idea of an Ice Sword (Rapier) of Sachwynne being out there somewhere...
