Using the MMRPG for older editons

I just came across a thread at Dragonsfoot, where Dustin Clingman mentions using the MMRPG modules for older editions:

Well in a twist of fate, the great idea that I had was to form up conversion teams to allow people to play whatever version of the rules they want.

The current setup we are required to use is the current iteration of rules, but I have spoken to the campaign administration and they are generally for the idea of putting together a team of experts to help make the adventures available for everyone.

Does that sound like something any 1/2e players would like to see?

Were these conversion teams ever set up? If they were not, maybe this would be something that could be done here?

Now that more and more of the season 1 episodes are returning, how do you find the idea of using them for TSR era editions?

For the most part, they are pretty easy conversions if you have a decent monster reference for whatever version you like to play. I've used some with OD&D and 4th ed.
