Hello all new here I need some ideas for a new OD&D Blackmoor campaign

Hello Harvard and Aldarron,

I am so confused on when most play on the timeline. I looked at one created by David Reid Ross and I see there is a couple places you can start it at. I want to do it when the map is current with all the towns and cities. So when is that? Its quite confusing. LOL I also play Mystara campaign (BECMI) and thats easy its 1000 AC. But with Blackmoor, I don't quite get what year I should play in or most do? I also see Harvard you wrote in Threshold #1 fanzine an article I will soon read. Looks awesome!

Most Blackmoor campaigns are set around the time of the DA modules or the d20 Blackmoor line: 

The DA modules are set in 1025. 
The D20 Blackmoor material is set in 1030

Dave Arneson's original campaign is ca 995-1000


For the Mystara timeline, 1025 corresponds to ca BC4000
