Races of Blackmoor

[Havard]

The froglin.

As I recall they were introduced as frogmen in the origional 1970s Blackmoor book adventure; the first ever published adventure. Then the concept of something as alien yet familiar as an aquatic humanoid major enemy just seemed to fall by the wayside. They were revived somewhat with DA Blackmoor MMRPG, but their storylines seemed secondary to others such as the Afridi-Peshwaw stories. The story lines involving other enemies were also great, but historically my main association of Blackmoor is with the Temple of the Frog and strange creatures that lie within.

Interesting choice!

Would you use them as PCs?

IMC, Froglin always appear and often get mixed up in the other storylines. They have a deeper Cthulhu-eque origin IMC though as well as the link to the City of the Gods.
