Thanks! The work is partially based on the R/W historical (Hypothesized) Kurgan culture as well as the villain from the Highlander movie. Things fell into place when I managed to link them to the Peshwa and Calelrin though. That made the Kurgans feel a bit more Blackmoorian.

I have also wanted to use the Dragon Knights from the D20 book for something more than just a specialized Knight unit from Dragonia. The idea of evil Dragon Knights appealed to me.
