Hello Charles!
A good starting point for a Pathfinder game is the D20 Dave Arneson's Blackmoor sourcebook.
Mostly you can probably just use Pathfinder classes and races as they are.
The main PC races of Blackmoor are:
Human, Thonian
Human Peshwa
Dwarf
Elf, Cumasti
Elf, Westryn
Halfling, Common
Halfling Docrae
For the humans, just use standard humans and apply the cultural fluff from the Campaign Guide. Same goes for dwarves. Cumasti elves are the default elves, while Westryn are more similar to Wild Elves. Does PF have something like that? In the case of Halflings, Docrae are more similar to standard 3E halflings, while Common Halflings are more Tolkienesque.
I don't know how well the variant magic system for Blackmoor would work with PF, but personally I would just go with standard PF rules.
Are you wondering about anything in particular?
More later!
