yellow mist

[Havard]

In the FFC, John Sniders holding is said to have been covered by a yellow mist which no one ever comes out of. I presume that this event occured when John went into active duty, but in any case, I don't know of any mention of this in later material. Where is this land of yellow mist?

If you are asking about where Johns holding was, it is marked as Bosero's tower on the DA series maps. It is found just north of the Dragon Hills. (See excellent replica by Dave L)

However, if you like me, are thinking that the Mists came from another place, making that the Land of the Yellow Mists, then that is a different matter. Personally I like the idea of the Yellow Mists being related to the mists either of Ravenloft or of the Mists in Castle Amber....

By the way, what is John Snider's story? He went to Vietnam as well? IIRC the death/disappearance of John's character happened around 1974.
