Did you hear the news that Blackmoor: Age of the Wolf is being released this year? I recall you telling me about Blackmoor: Time Shift maybe back in 2003? Is that basically the same project?

Hi Havard,
I did hear about Age of The Wolf. This project was produced as part of our limited license with Code Monkey Productions. I did not have any role in the project's creation and I haven't read or reviewed anything originating from the effort.
The concept around a Blackmoor Time Shift was more in the vein of trying to bridge fantasy and sci-fi settings into something that could possibly justify another stand alone campaign setting. Dave and I had talked a fair bit about his interest in and work on Shadowrun and contemplated how we might make something like that happen. If you're familiar with that Shadowrun module "DNA/DOA", you'll know that it plays just like a classic dungeon crawl with future technology at hand.
I feel that Mutant Crawl Classics from Goodman Games is a pretty fun setting with this same energy. Add some unique Blackmoor flair and you're on your way.
While I'm here, I also saw the WoTC may make a change to remove Blackmoor from Greyhawk. I think this would be a wonderful change. It both pays homage to Dave and provides room for Blackmoor to have it's own space to breath, whether that comes from new sources of content or directly from Wizards. When I first heard the news, I felt like Dave would have been happy with the change and to be given the hat tip of a realm named "Arn".
