Weren't both Gamma World and Barrier Peaks attributed to being inspired by Metamorposis Alpha?

Barrier Peaks is obviously also a Blackmoor inspired product, but that was not the time for TSR to give any credit to Dave Arneson...

Richard Snider presented a very similar game to TSR which he called Mutant that they rejected well before they published Metamorphosis Alpha. I remember Richard being really angry about that, but not having the resources to do anything about it. He felt he had been ripped off.
