Interesting! I do like the idea of a New Blackmoor up there many thousands of years later. Not to speak of a lost scion of Blackmoor 8)

As to the language, I think your assumption is fine. Although it might also have made sense to say that Blackmoorian (Thonian, really) is fairly close to Neathar. The Hollow World details the similarities between Neathar and "Common".
