The before Thonia world of Blackmoor

I like this map. It kind of fits my memory of how we viewed the Great Kingdom in relation to Blackmoor back in the early days.

So, for the "Hi Res" version Rafe wants I'm thinking I'll probably do a hand drawn and scan it in. But that will have to wait till more of the names and such are fleshed out.

So, are there 10 provinces in the great kingdom plus Blackmoor or did Blackmoor count as one of those ten?

I think Blackmoor was the 11th Province. Also the other provinces are the size of the whole north each, not just the size of Blackmoor itself.

Havard mentioned the names of 4 provinces, Mohacs, Borno, Synobia, and Bolgere. If we were to add Greyhock and Khalibrun we would only need 3 or 4 more names to flesh that out.

Bolgere is my invention (based on Bolger, a dark skinned human race from DA1). I'd be tempted to turn Cirkhosia into another province myself. Maybe Bleakwood too, though I'm guessing Bleakwood is part of Borno actually. Not sure if Mohacs is a province. It is the name of the Imperial City.
