The second hobbit movie was such an awful disappointment, especially all the crap Jackson added after the escape from Mirkwood, with the impossible city of Lake er "town", laughable lines like "enemies of the state", breaking up the dwarves, and the ho hum hour long car, er dragon chase in the mountain. I think I'll pass.

Damn right. And the worst thing was that godawful love story between dwarf and elf. No, wait! Wasn't there also a ridiculous golden dwarf statue of titan size?

I'm still looking forward to see the last part. Hope never dies.
