Note also that I made his tribe the Qullan Tribe. My idea is that the Qullan serving the Egg of Coot in later days are descendants of Keres' Tribesmen.

So in the time of Keres they're something akin to Neanderthals, but sometime between then and the "present day" they've been interbred with demons and basically turned into 8' tall Tieflings?

Reading that link, it sounds like even the Egg doesn't necessarily feel safe in their presence, seeing as he kills them if they get close and uses them by basically cattle prodding them into the front lines as shock troops. Makes one wonder what it is about them that makes the Egg uncomfortable.
