Hi everyone!
I’ve been messing around with DnD for a couple of years, but the history of the game is very interesting to me. I’ve been looking back at settings like Mystara and Greyhawk trying to learn what I can from these amazing settings. I’ve known about Blackmoor for a while but it was only when I read the FFC book that I became very interested in the setting itself. It’s mix of adventuring, politics, and wargaming also reminded me of the first campaign I ever played in DnD. I plan on running a game set in Blackmoor some time, but I’ve also been working on a setting and system that are meant to emulate some of the older mechanics from Arneson’s game. This community seems great and I hope to learn more for future games.

Registered at the behest of Havard for recommending that I check out RobJN World That Was!

I am not that new to Blackmoor. I used to own a couple of the D20 3E books, but had to sell them to raise a little coin when times got hard. Will be looking to get the PDFs when I get my next paycheck. May also have to invest in the TSR Alternity books.
