Terror Inc were the group behind many of the later era episodes of Blackmoor the MMRPG. Phillip Slama, formerly of Terror Inc just posted on my Facebook Wall that he is interested in sharing new Blackmoor Adventures for free with fans.
Philip Slama Wrote:So I've got a question for everyone out there who used to play the Blackmoor MMRPG or are writing in multiple systems:
I'm sitting on twenty-six new Blackmoor themed episodes (should be about 120 hours of game-play and unrelated to the Blackmoor MMRPG campaign, totally new material and starts in 1025 UC) that I've just finished the story outlines for a home game, but figured I'd end up sharing with all of you out there.
I know I can write the whole thing in Pathfinder's 3.75 Edition and take advantage of most of the Blackmoor MMRPG material but I'm also really interested in doing something in 5th Edition.
Anyone have any thoughts on the pro's and con's (besides the insanity that is 3.X arms race when it comes to spells, powers, and items)?
Would you like to see more Blackmoor Adventures?

FANTASTIC NEWS!!!
I definitely would like to see more Blackmoor adventures! 8) 8) 8) 8)
I have no preference between Pathfinder and D&D5, so for me the best ruleset is the one that the author likes best!

Here's a couple of teasers for the first twelve episodes:
Season I: Inflection Point
Episode I: The War Road
Celebrating the dawn of a new year, the players come to the aid of a Thonian priest who has vital information concerning the plans of Toska Rusa and the Afridhi Horde. Can they safely escort him across the Great Dismal Swamp to Blackmoor?
Episode II: Prime Customers
As the winds of winter begin to die down, representatives from UnKany’s Arms and Wares are seeking a group of experienced and expendable individuals to locate a critical shipment thought lost in the Great Dismal Swamp during the height of winter.
Episode III: Hunting Grounds
Just a year after her harrowing kidnapping, the Baroness of The Lakes, Rissa Aleford, has announced that the fifth annual Aphid Challenge will take place on the 23rd of Yovenouom in South Pim! Individuals and corporations from across all of Blackmoor have begun to flock to the small town in order to register and compete in the challenge for honor, fame, glory, and profits. Do you have what it takes to be a competitor?
Episode IV: The Lightless Depths
The village of Kenville, known for its various water related activities, has drawn the attention of a curious gnome inventor hell bent on discovering what lies at the bottom of the Lake of Mists and proving his latest clockwork inventions work as advertised…this time.
Episode V: Subterrane
A frantic mother begs for help from the men of Kenville to investigate the disappearance of her child who was last seen swimming with friends on the banks of Trog Lake. Unfortunately it is the height of harvest seasons for many of the farmers and it seems that profits are more important to the citizens than one lost child.
Episode VI: Children of the Dragon
Decades ago the men of Lake Gloomy hunted down and killed the massive gator that threatened their very survival then displayed its remains as a sign to everyone that they would persist and survive in their new home. Now something stirs in the dark waters of the Great Dismal Swamp waiting to take revenge on the town and all of its inhabitants for the crimes of their ancestors.
Episode VII: Salvage Rights
A decade ago, during the Battle of the Neck, a freighter carrying war supplies to the front lines was lost on the Misuagua River. After a powerful spring tempest its mast and flag were discovered breaching the waters of Loch Gloomen and UnKany’s Arms and Wares has been granted the salvage rights to the vessel by the Regency Council in the hopes some of the supplies can be salvaged to reinforce the cities of Fel and Dukane.
Episode VIII: Pramantha
Seven years ago an eccentric gnome received a massive land grant from the Baroness of The Lakes and disappeared into the Great Dismal Swamp with a grin stretching from ear to ear. Two nights ago a massive explosion rocked Lake Gloomy and South Pim while a great gout of flame could be seen stretching high into the night sky on the horizon. The Baroness, in an uncharacteristic panic, has called for volunteers to investigate what has happened at Alkane Manor and report back to her.
Episode IX: The King’s Gambit
King Uther has begrudgingly decided to support the Brothers of the Greenwood in their attempt to liberate Silverbell in order to provide cover for operatives to attack the Well of Souls before it is completed by the Afridhi Horde. The Fetch has some ideas on who might be able to tackle that specific problem…
Episode X: Tarnished Intent
The plan to liberate the town of Silverbell appears to be on the brink of failure as King Uther is unable to raise enough troops to aid in the planned assault when the Bishop of Blackmoor approaches him with a profane suggestion…
Episode XI: The Siege of Silverbell
As the summer solstice draws near the Brothers of the Greenwood, King Uther’s troops, and a smattering of adventurers prepare to attack the Afridhi Horde and liberate the town of Silverbell in an attempt to draw attention away from their true objective…the destruction of the Well of Souls.

Hi Phil!
Great seeing you back here at The Comeback Inn!
These teasers look really exciting! I love that you have an arc already planned out. The Well of Souls is particularly interesting to me. Such a fascinating artifact.
Did you notice that another MMRPG author, Willowroot, also
wants to get back into writing Blackmoor adventures? Any chance of a collaboration a well?

I saw. Right now I'm just interested in writing stuff that I would want to play and how all those threads tell a story that I'm crafting between the materials I've been reading, the assumptions I am making, and the creative decisions I'd like to make when it comes to this setting.
Think of it like I'm sharing a personal home-campaign with everyone. The only difference is if people play it as it is occurring then they have a chance to affect the story line with their actions at certain points if they report it back.
That's why I've chosen to structure it like the old MMRPG or a "Living" campaign.

There's a 5e OGL but I'd see who has the license and then you can make the mods in 5e.

Well, super cool! Yeah 5e would likely by my preference too because it is slightly easier to convert to OD&D. That Well of Souls adventure sounds particularly intriguing.....
Great to see another Blackmoor Alum join the party! Welcome Philip.
