What are Frost Docrae? Are Chaos Mages a thing from AFF?

If you consider the following maps (from this site :wink: )


Frisia can be considered an island between Blackmoor and Skandahar, with the Firefrost Channel to the west, the Black Sea to the south, the North Sea to the east and the Skandaharian Sea to the north.
If you don't consider the Firefrost Channel as meaningful enough to make it an island, then it becomes a peninsula.

Frost Docraes are just a variant of savage Docraes that are adapted to the frozen lands of the far north. They are another victim of Skandaharian aggressions and sometimes are forced to serve Skandaharian raiders as cannon fodder.

Chaos Mages are an AFF2 thing, strictly speaking about game mechanics, and, according to the campaign guide http://www.chimerae.it/download/CHBLW0en.zip, they are an inevitable and true evil evolution of the Sorcerers, that in time happens to all Sorcerers surviving enough and practicing enough to make enough casting mistakes.
