Hello to you all,
I'm relatively new to all this, and my experience never extended into Blackmoor. In fact, I didn't know anything about it until I first came to this site. A whole new world has been opened up to me!
Not much of an introduction, I know, but I feel the fun is in the journey and I look forward to interacting with you all!
On another note, I'll be taking over responsibility for keeping you all updated with the latest news from AetherCon!

Hello everyone. I have to admit that I have never played in the Blackmoor setting and only found out about it while trying to learn more about Jeff Quinn's new game Destiny6. However, the more I've learned about Blackmoor the more I like it. One of the aspects of Blackmoor that really stands out to me is the inclusion of some Sci-Fi elements into the fantasy setting. I've heard that this was more common in the early days of roleplaying but that was before my time. Reading about Blackmoor has brought back some fond memories of playing a computer game that had a similar setting with my Dad (I think it was called Crusaders of the Dark Savant). Anyhow, I'm glad I found this site and thank you to whoever created it and puts in the work to keep it online.
