In particular I absolutely love how this (almost final...) Episode closes the circle with the very first Episode, including the vision of a possible future that can be found in Episode 1, doors 5 and 6... very high respect! 8)

Yes, I can answer this one.

When we started expanding the number of episodes, we would make assignments to writers and sometimes they wouldn't be ready by the time we had planned to premier the episode. In some cases, there were some amazing talents working on multiple episodes at the same time...and some of them took off more than should be chewed by a single person.

This is the case with Rolling Thunder. I'm certain there were others, but they were caught beforehand and any overlap such as this would be edited out.

The MMRPG was a labor of love for so many volunteers. I love it when little cracks like this shine through and show how much more we were planning.

Warm Regards,
Dustin

I can tell you that with all certainty, we intended to loop back to each of the rooms in The ComeBack Inn. If you've played, you've seen that some of them were part of the background. Others, such as the casting of legendary spells (almost made a spoiler) were handled at Interactive events.

We were really trying to do something cool in a timebox. We all knew about that box and have a lot of fun playing there.

I'm thinking Mr. Slama can probably answer this best but I'm wondering if anybody knows more about the Drakon'Katha towers.

Looking through the episode, I haven't seen a description other than they are made of obsidian and the Drakon'Katha and monster allies come out of them.

So they could be just a couple stories tall with a big opening in the front, or they could be a 20 story sky scraper with proper windows and doors. What are these things really like?

I imagined them like enormous, obsidian fangs coming out of the earth.

The idea is these are tall spires, think like Isengard in LotR.

They're every where, like stalagmites pushing out of the ground to the surface.

Awesome. Stalagmite like is exactly how I was picturing them in my minds eye. So I guess we are talking pretty tall if Isenguard is the model. Thanks Philip.
