...On the question of the sequel.
After some talks with Havard, I have decided that I will indeed do a sequel for you guys, contrary to what I had announced earlier.
In PBP.
On this board.
...But it will not be a classical RPG.
Rather than that, it will likely be closer to Companion-Level adventures for OD&D,
and specifically the second edition Birthright Regency-style games.
I strongly recommend you all, in case you want to continue to play under my guidance,
to familiarize yourselves with that kind of rules ("ruler-rules", and strategical and tactical fantasy gaming) over the course of next year.
That said, it is still in the cards WHICH rules system we will use, but Birthright is indeed likely.
In any case, there will be a gap of at least six month between the end of The Promised Land,
and any form of sequel, as far as I am concerned.
Also, there will be a substantial jump in the timeline; the new campaign will start in 1113 NC,
more than seventy years in the future of "The Promised Land".
Currently, the folder where I collect first notes on the sequel bears the title "The War of the Jewels".
But that is for the future... Let's see when you'll get there.
Yours,
Rafael
