During my recent reading up on the Peshwah, I finally came to understand a few things about the D20 Sourcebook for Blackmoor that had been a bit puzzling to me until that time.
First of all the Equipment List.
It lists alot of exotic and strange weapons and armor. With Blackmoor, I expected the Equipment list to be filled with various gadget related items, but not weapons like these. Some were designated as Dwarven and Elven, but the other I couldnt quite place. It was not untill I read the Riders of Hak sourcebook, that I realized that they were Peshwah special weapons:
Arbir: A combination of a spear and sword
Bullova: A wicked looking hand axe
Grazer spear: an unusual looking spear
Sicke Mace: A combination of a sickle and mace
Sickle Sword: A sword with a long sickle like blade.
There is also a list of different types of arrows, but I think they could be available to both Elves and Peshwah.
Then there are the gods. This was easier to figure out. The Peshwah gods are mixed in with the human gods, but the descriptions of the following gods lists them as those of the Peshwah:
Hak
Calelrin
Raelralataen
Yoosef
Finally, among the Prestigue Classes, the Dragon Knights seem to be primarily intended for the Peshwah.
Am I the only one thinking this could have been spelled out a bit more clearly?
