Erak/Erac connection?

In Gary Gygax' campaign, Gary's oldest son Ernie played the characters Erac and Erac's Cousin. I just realized the similarities between that name and that of the town of Erak in Blackmoor. Perhaps we can use what is known of Erac to develop Blackmoor's Erak a bit further?
