Naah. I like canon-tinkering a lot.
The problem is, particularly with BM, the cool stuff is apocryphal.

That is true of course. It is really fascinating to dig up stories from Arneson's games or obscure magazine articles or whatnot. I am not going to stop doing that of course Smile

Yeah, that's my problem - you embrace the ZGG canon; I move to stuff like P&P, Star Empires, Braunstein, and so on, to get a feel for the gaming style, not so much for the setting.

As one of my players, you might ask yourself when this effectively had an impact on our game; I assure you, as soon as we have wrapped up the current storyline, you will continually notice a certain change in style,
