Mount Rockey, where is it?
#1
In the FFC, page 14, in the Ran of Ah Foo section, Mount Rockey is mentioned as Ran's breeding ground for his dragons.
Logic may suggest that this is one of the mountains in the west of the Duchy of Ten. Do we have other references to this place?
In the same section it is mentioned a "new Capital" of his construction, laid out, like the breeding areas, "in a coldly logical manner". This doesn actually sound like Starmorgan or any other officially fleshed out city of the Duchy of the Ten, isn't it?

EDIT: I just found this brief reference in the "Legends" section at page 48:
"24) Mount Rocky Duchy of Ten"
He's a real Nowhere man, sitting in his Nowhere land,
making all his Nowhere plans for Nobody.

Great pieces of research Yaz. I think I have some notes about the placement of this location somewhere...

From just looking at the map I would say either in the Gargoyle Hills or the Hills of Ten. I think the Gargoyle Hill are the most likely.

I never thought to connect the "New Capital" with the Mount Rocky base, but that does make sense. I wonder if "Rocky" has anything to do with Stephen Rocheford? The player, not the St. Stephen character, possibly?

Re-reading this thread, maybe we should split the discussion about Ran's "new Capital" of the Duchy of Ten... that is quite a mystery for me.
