Tracy's HackMoor(v4) Level Up Session (T1)
#1
Games are (usually) on Thursday nights sometime after 5:30PM at World's Best Comics, 9714 Warwick Blvd Newport News, Virginia 23601.

Last night we had a typical meat lover's pizza, phillycheesesteak substituted for pepperoni. Added bonus, got a free upgrade to extra-large.

++++ START OF SESSION ++++

The Party, a bit relieved now that they were back on the Prime Material Plane, decided they needed to "level up" before descending to what was apparently, their final encounter. Which was some unnamed demon-lord from the module. (It actually does have a name, but the Players never bothered to investigate such details.)

Using Jacko's new girlfiend (a demoness), they teleported (with limited capacity taking several trips) those who had enough experience points to level up. It was left unsaid what happened to those who did not need to level up. Perhaps they stayed behind at the Temple? Who knows.

Jacko deposited the party's collective treasure stash in their Theives Guild, for later. Then he went and burgled the Town Treasury and stowed it there also.

The NPC Monks leveled up first in Town. Using Huang as their personal tutor, 3 weeks.

Next Jacko and the remaining Thieves (who wanted leveling). Teleported to Blackmoor for Professional Thieves Guild training. Using good references from Weasel to join the Blackmoor Thieves Guild and used Numrendir as a guide. They also hit upon a convenient way to level up quickly. By using the Tempis Fugit spell at 11th level (sequentially over and over because cast at 11th level it only gets them 9.16 hours of compressed time), again via Jacko's new girlfriend, they shortened training time from 5 weeks to 5 days. (Then did it again because they had qualified to raise twice and I had conveniently forgotten the lose all your experience points after leveling rule.)

Next week, unless the Players have some other major party enhancing project. I expect them to Teleport back to the Temple and meet their Pièce de résistance.

Passing one session just levelling us is a luxury I definitely do not have.
He's a real Nowhere man, sitting in his Nowhere land,
making all his Nowhere plans for Nobody.
