So looking at the size of the city population listed in the ZGG puts it at 5,400. I don't see that amount of people fitting in the layout in the FFC. So for those of you using this how have you expanded the boundaries of the town? What changes have you made?

Good question.
I even think the population number given in the books is low.
The DAB guilde says that the Blackmoor University has been built over the Wizards Pit. Also, you should make room for
at least 3 major temples. Expansions have probably spread around the old town and possibly around the bay.
Svenny's Stronghold is noted to now be considered part of the towns defenses so possibly a second city wall has been added?

That's what I was thinking of doing was expanding the city by building a second wall. Leave the original as is call it the "old city" then build out new settlements and build a second city wall for quarters.

Yeah, that was what I was thinking as well. I'm thinking that the outer city will not have expanded into the Wizard Wood, leaving it perhaps in some ways similar to the Shoikan Woods of Dragonlance (except not as scary).
