Hello everyone! My names Tanky. I have recently decided to seek out a new forum, for discussions about D&D and rpgs in general. Hopefully, this is a good place.

I recently decided to bail on the last forum, because they simply did not enforce their TOS concerning discriminatory remarks by their more trollish members. Specifically, the use of the term "gay" as an insult, or to say that something sucks. It appears the trend from xbox gamers has bled over into sites for old school gamers.

I don't consider myself hypersensitive, and actually feel that my sense of humor is pretty liberal. Still, I'm done with hearing the word gay used this way, and wont support a group who tolerates it's use on their forums. I hope that I've found the right place, and look forward to many great discussions.

Hello Tanky,
so far this has been a pretty friendly place and I cannot say I have seen any remarks that were disrespectful towards any minority, whether ethnic, sexual, religious etc. Hopefully it will remain that way.

This forum is about Dave Arneson's Blackmoor so if that is a topic that interests you then I think you will like it here. Smile

BTW: Let's not continue the discussion about the practices of other forums here. Nothing good ever comes out of that.

Greetings, Tanky! I'm a newcomer here, myself, but have enjoyed the atmosphere a lot. The posters here are friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Make yourself at home there by the fire and I'll bring you a frothy mug to enjoy while the others make their introductions Big Grin
