We don't know the exact fate of Captain Bork Riesling of the FSS Beagle, or his rival Stephen Rocklin. Some have speculated that there was a final confrontation between the two, perhaps ending in the destruction of both. This "Godwar" could have been the topic of a module such as the fake one I made the cover above for.
Wrath of the Immortals tells us that a few centuries later, Security Officer Ogdoban Treel (Rocklin's replacement?) awoke from his stasis. He killed ever single surviving Beagle crewmember HAL-style save one. Then he proceeded selling off tecnhological parts to locals (Blackmoorians, Thonians, Skandaharians, you name it). In his greed he even sold off parts which were keeping the Beagle core reactor stable.
Fortunately the inventive engineer Rheddrian Benekander had not been killed in stasis like the other crew members. He managed to revert the process of the Core Reactor, causing it to implode rather than explode. In an instant Benekander, Treel and the City of the Gods were whisked away from existance. This was not the last time Benekander was heard from, but that is a different story.
Question: What about all the tech Treel sold off to random locals? Could this be the cause of the Age of the Wolf? The timing is not too bad.
