The Comeback Inn is proud to present the second in a series of sourcebooks written by Greg Svenson. Some of this material has previously appeared on Greg's website and elsewhere, but these are special adaptations for the Comeback Inn, edited by Havard.

Thank you for this, Greg!
I'd imagine that Sweetwater can be a centre of intrigue for spies going between Newgate and Bramwald, trying to frame each other, and smugglers as well, as it is actually a border town. Perhaps these could be topics of amateur adventures set in this village.

I just found a little wrinkle... nothing too bad, anyway: there is a Sweetwater River between Maus and Blackmoor City (see the map in Dave Arneson's Blackmoor campaign guide by Zeitgeist Games). Of course you can have a Sweetwater village on the Sweet Creek in one part of the country (between Newgate and Bramwald) and a Sweetwater River in another part of the country (between Maus and Blackmoor City), but in general it doesn't sound great.

I have to admit that I didn't remember there being a Sweetwater River in Blackmoor and had not idea it was there when I wrote this, 10-15 years ago.

I just crossed that river in a game... that's how I found it out.
