It depends on what goes outside. As soon as the ward goes down, for some reason, he will throw what he has in the waterskin.

That should leave both well able to continue attacking. So please make your announcements for round 3.

Hi, this may be an interpretation thing only, but...
The Major Ward is a hemisphere with 10 ft radius. It should comfortably cover Sol, and since he is below the plane of the ward then the storm coming from above should be stopped at the ward before it hits Sol.
Could that be the case?

I see what you mean, and yes... you are 100% correct. No damage to Sol. Unfortunately this also means that he can't enter combat, because he has no chance of getting around the ward, as it blocks the way for him!

Ok, Sol is trapped on the level between the crypt and the top where the secret passage was. While he waits for a chance to ascend the rope, he will use Tizona to see if he can detect anything in the passage behind the secret door.

Sol need not be trapped. The spell description explicitly says that it offers no protection from below and that an enemy could burrow into it from the ground. So Sol can ascend.

I guess it will be time to throw the ward down and let everyone attack on the next round, then.
