Round 2:OOC: The online dice roller is temporarily unavailable. I will therefore roll my dice per hand here, hoping that you trust me. I have a packed week ahead of me, and will be away from home from thursday 'til sunday, with only very limited online access during that time, so a posting today is necessary since I don't think that I'll be able to make one over the next week.
Another remark: Limited Wish has a casting time of 7 segments, which means that Gaderon will only be able to finish it at the beginning of round 3, as will Ahi with the second sunburst.Party initiative: 5The Set Rahotep's initiative: 5The howl of pain from the undead creature can hardly be overheard as the brillant light flashes up for an instant, appearing searing white even through your closed eyes. When you dare to open them a few seconds later, you see that the smoldering wounds that the spell has left behind regenerate in a near-godlike manner
(OOC: The sunburst caused 11 points of damage, but the regeneration heals 10 of those points immediately.)While
Gaderon and
Ahi immediately start casting new spells, the Set Rahotep shrugs off the effect of Ahi's
Holy Word after just one round, and starts casting a spell himself, thus allowing
Sol an attack of opportunity with Tizona
(OOC: Making an attack roll for Sol: 15, all bonusses included. A hit! Damage roll: 14). Still, the evil one manages to retain his concentration and finish his spell, which is a very quick one: an
unholy word, the same kind of magic that Ahi just threw at him, now powered by evil forces and directed at you.
OOC: At your level, the effect of this spell is somewhat limited. Still, it allows no ST, and you all are deafened by its tremendous power, your move is reduced by 25%, your attack rolls receive a malus of -2, and your spellcasting has a failure chance of 50%. This means for Ahi and Gaderon to check whether their limited wish and sunburst spells fizzle and are wasted due to concentration errors. In case they are, please provide me with an alternate course of action for the next round - and don't forget to roll the same chance again, in case you want to try another spell. This failure chance doesn't count for the usage of magic items, of course).Somewhat hampered by the effect of the
unholy word,
Sol continues to attack Rahotep. His great fighting skills even out the disadavantages, and both his attacks hit the undead fiend, even though the damage is slightly reduced due to the spell effects to a total of 15. The warrior then feels the healing power of
Kherim who lays hands on him for 32 points, healing him almost completely.
OOC: No new map, since everybody's still in the same position.
