If possible, Gaderon will try and keep another "Bigby’s Interposing Hand"-spell ready, though, should the situation spiral out of control again...

Dropping her useless sword, Eilkhan draws her dagger instead and dashes forward to attack the Sahu, but the thing doesn't have a discernible "back", and it seems to have anticipated the thief's attack and dodges it.

Eilkhan's attack: 11

Ahi's holy word obviously effects the thing, as it seems to move a bit slower. It now attacks the priest, but misses him.

Sahu's attack: 5

From behind the cover of the huge magical hand, Gaderon casts dispel magic at the Sahu, but it seems to be unaffected by this spell too.

Sol and Kherim both attack it. While the paladin only hits once with the holy sword for 7 points of damage (the sword does +3 on damage rolls), Sol's attacks all hit the Sahu, but both Kherim's and Sol's blade are engulfed with dark energy again.

OOC: Another ST vs magic for each weapon, please.

Finally Ahi strikes at it with his Uas rod, but misses as well.

Gaderon will try and step back from the circle of fighting.

Then, he will cross his fingers, breath in, heavily - and call for the forces of the almighty Mana to banish this vile creature.

Sol will step back, sling his shield and draw his +2 magic dagger in his off hand, then attack with his sword.

As with the other spells directed at it before, the Sahu of Rahotep is obviously unaffected by Gaderon's try to banish it. However, it doesn't matter, because the barrage of attacks that now follows from Sol, Kherim, Ahi and Eilkhan lets it flicker and die down like a candle.

It's gone, but suddenly the temperature in the area drops to near-freezing, and you can see your breath. There is a pallid light from behind you, and you can clearly see its source: glowing hieroglyphs have appeared on the curved stone wall of the alcove. The color emanating from them is disgusting. Who will examine this writing to decipher its meaning?

Kherim will, hoping that his paladin enhanced resistance to supernatural effects will protect him more from the cold and the obvious magic in the writing than his companions.

Meanwhile, Ahi suggests that they exercise in place to warm up, or run to a warmer place near here.

Kherim will try to be as fast as possible in reading.

Taking Ahi's suggestion, Sol moves south into the area where we had the big battle earlier, to determine if it is any warmer there (where the statues lined the east and west walls, etc.).

Gaderon will approach the glowing letters... And cast a minor spell that may or may not allow him to read their meaning...
