Round 1Party initiative: 3 Creature initiative: 6 It is indeed another bodily aspect of your enemy, Rahotep, that confronts you now. Ahi recognizes the thing as that part of the body which is called the
Ikh, and which may become a
Sahu, a spirit being, consisting of a portion of the intelligence of the body.
With unearthly speed and agility, the Sahu glides around Kherim and Sol towards Gaderon. Reaching out, it tries to touch the mage with an arm of crackling black energy, but Gaderon is well-protected himself and also guarded by Kherim's aura, and so the attack slides harmlessly past him.
Sahu's attack: 3 Gaderon reacts quickly and loses one of his
disintegration spells at the thing, which curiously doesn't try to intercept or react otherwise to the spell casting. Only a second later, Gaderon knows why as the ray completely rebounds from the Sahu and gets reflected back at him. Graced with a high dexterity and loaded with potent protective devices, Gaderon sidesteps, and the disintegration ray misses him barely.
Gaderon's saving throw: 23 While
Ahi casts a
prayer to Neith to help you even more against this foe,
Sol and
Kherim quickly turn around and move to attack the Sahu.
Sol's three attacks all hit the thing, and even cause some damage, although it's hard for him to tell whether he hurt it badly or not. But the contact with the arcane energies have some effect on Tizona as some sparks seemingly stick to the blade and cause something that could be best explained as a "shortcut" effect (if there were electricians in Khemit who would know about it....).
OOC: A saving throw without any modifications is needed for the sword.Chance for a critical hit for Sol's second attack: 81 As Kherim approaches and strikes the Sahu with his scimitar, he experiences the same effect. All three attacks hit, but the amount of damage that he does is hard to tell, although there is some. The shortcut effect also applies to his weapon as sparks of dark energy move along its blade.
OOC: And another ST without modifiers for Kherim's scimitar.Chances for critical hits for attacks 1 and 3: 54, 100 Finally,
Eilkhan turns visible again, as she strikes the Sahu from behind with her short sword.
Eilkhan's attack: 15 Eilkhan's damage: 4 This should have been a perfect backstab, but it's impossible to tell if it actually worked. The blade of her short sword gets completely engulfed by the dark energy. Sizzling and crackling sounds emerge from it, but nothing more happens at this point.
Short sword saving throw: 8
