Of course he can scribe restoration scrolls himself at this level, but it's an expensive and time-consuming affair, needing several days for one scroll alone. It's also potentially dangerous because its creation costs a priest one year of his life and thus makes a system shock roll necessary.

To be fair, I don't think Ahi nor Kherim have lost any level. They have been Wisdom drained. Doesn't a Restoration recover that? What do the priests say is the best way to treat that loss?
And although Ahi only lost 2 points of wisdom, that is enough to bar him use of spells of levels 6 and 7, which is a big hit.
So, Ahi has a Wis of 16 now.

In any case, useful scrolls to have would be
- Restoration (lv 7)
- Holy Word (lv 7)
- Ressurrection (lv 7)
- Heal (lv 6)

It does depend on the cost.

I'm afraid to say that restoration doesn't return lost wisdom points - only a wish can do that.
