Regarding the spells, I don't have the spells book with me atm, but reallly, an Enlarge should be a low-level spell if I remember. Maybe we could put it in, somehow? One or two of those?

Stone Shape is probably too high level, and possibly less worthy than the current choice, but that does depend on its real level.

Back online, now in my old place in Madrid. Got a bit of dusting off to do.
So, spells not okay?

Not that they're not ok, but after each battle we may notice things that would be an improvement.
And in this case, I am just suggesting swapping one or two level 1 spells for Enlarge. It lasts for a good amount of time and would give much more strength and efficacy to our front-row fighters, making them as strong as ogres or even giants, depending on the available vertical space in the room. Maybe 1 spell is enough, as possibly we won't have many tall ceilings, but in any case it is worth a try.

You could swap them in for Detect Magic (iirc, Sol's sword can do that at will) and maybe Shield.

the more I think about this, the more I am convinced direct damage dealing spells are going to be useless. We should invest instead in buffing our fighters and protecting them from damage, since the last things we fought had high magic resistance and were only vulnerable to physical damage.

Have some fighters of large size and with extra strength and so on, and we'll have much better chances. Aside from that, a large amount of spells is going to fail.
