Well, yes, Kherim would like to. Clearly the cone can be aimed such that none of the party are hit. What is a pulse, is it in a straight line or a cone? Can the horn be aimed such that it does not hit major columns?

Kherim can aim the horn in a way that none of the columns are hit, i.e. a straight line through the scorpion-snake and the Rahotep statue, but it will certainly hit the back wall of the hall as it's 10" long. There might be dangers involved with that due to the age of the place, but Kherim can't be sure about that, of course.

How much is 1''? The description has both ' and '' units, and I am always confused by that.

I'm sorry. 1" means 10 feet. Map scale is 5 feet per square.

Ok, does the back wall look like naturally hewn rock? Is it possible to show the room we are in within the context of the whole map? Kherim would like assert if the back wall is important for support. If it is likely to be enclosed in the rock, then digging somewhat in will not be a factor, I think. And if it is only plaster or a thin wall, it must not be supporting any weight anyhow.
